After P's last Saturday activity, we decided to go to Baywalk. At around five o-clock, the sun's rays angle were still a bit harsh for us so we decided to drop by that Plaza Cuartel near the church.
Coincidentally, there were a group of people doing something interesting at the area. I was told by my ex-boss that they were folks from the Nat Geo. They were going down under the dig and it was just interesting to note what's under, along with the what really happened there years ago.
A Massacre. That was it. My curiousity was really aroused and I looked for more info on what had happened there. This brought me to this site and this another one here. I also had the chance to talk about it with one of my prof and she shared that one of the Fil soldiers who was with Mr. Schloat was named Gaudencio Manlavi. Now, isn't that a coincidence that I know someone of that name round here. If that was the same name, could it be that the wife is still living now? That I have to find out.
All these and more about the local history which I find quite interesting. Off to go somewhere, out of this compounds of the pc.
